CV Part No. CV-DVSK1

The CV-DVSK1 system uses Ultrasonic Technology and is designed to prevent accidents with cyclists or pedestrians.
At traffic lights, left turns or slow moving traffic, cyclists will often attempt to pass on the inside of a vehicle and similarly pedestrians will stand too close to the road not realizing that large vehicles turning left may cut across the curb. The pedestrian / cyclist detection system is an ultrasonic sensor system specifically designed to give a warning not only to the driver, but also to make cyclists and pedestrians aware of a turning vehicle.

This System Includes:

1. Side Detection System (SDS)

  • 12 – 24 volt
  • Interior warning display with buzzer
  • Intelligent cyclist / pedestrian anti collision system
  • Intelligent external audible warning alarm
  • 1 x angled sensor and 3 x under mount sensors
  • Sensors Rated IP68
  • E Mark Approved

Fault Reporting

Diagnose your fault quickly

Accurate Diagnostics = Better, Faster ECU Remanufacturing

Providing clear and detailed fault information is one of the most important steps in the remanufacturing process. The more accurate the diagnostics, the faster we can identify the root cause, reduce turnaround times, and ensure a reliable repair.

To help us deliver the best possible results, please include the following information when sending your unit:

Fault Description

Give a clear, simple explanation of the issue as observed by you or your technician.

  • What is the vehicle or system doing?
  • What is it not doing that it should?

A concise description helps us quickly understand the symptoms and focus on the right areas.

When the Fault Occurs

Understanding when the issue happens is key to identifying patterns.

Please let us know if the fault appears:

  • During start-up
  • Only at operating temperature
  • In specific gears or modes
  • Under load or acceleration
  • Intermittently or consistently

This information allows us to replicate real-world conditions and pinpoint the cause more efficiently.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)

  • Include all fault codes retrieved using a diagnostic tool
  • These provide a vital starting point in identifying affected systems or components

DTCs combined with live data give us a much clearer picture than codes alone.

Live (Real-Time) Data

Where possible, include relevant readings from your diagnostic equipment, such as:

  • Battery and charging voltages
  • Sensor values (temperature, pressure, position, speed, etc.)
  • Actuator positions
  • Any readings that appear abnormal or out of range

Live data helps us verify faults, confirm component behaviour, and accurately reproduce the issue during testing.

Why This Matters

Accurate and detailed diagnostics allow us to:

  • Identify faults faster
  • Reduce unnecessary testing
  • Improve repair accuracy
  • Minimise turnaround time
  • Ensure long-term reliability of the ECU

If you’re unsure about any of the above, feel free to get in touch — our team is always happy to help.
